- Torsion test: The torsion force of a product shows its ability to resist being twisted in half. Various standards have stipulated minimum requirements for the torsion force of self-tapping stainless steel screws. In this test, the screw is clamped in a chuck with a tapped middle part on the torsion test tool, and then a torque wrench is used to apply force until the screw is twisted. If the torque does not exceed the minimum requirement, the product is unqualified. Unqualified shows that the stainless steel screw is too soft or the diameter of the thread is too small.
2. Locking test: This test is to lock the stainless steel screw to a test board, this board has specified hardness, thickness and aperture. Combined with the treatment and function of stainless steel screw coating technology, if the stainless steel screw locks the test board, but the pattern is deformed, the stainless steel screw product is unqualified. Unqualified shows that the surface hardening treatment of stainless steel screws is too shallow or too soft.
3. China Stud Supplier Locking Torque Test: This test is only required for stainless steel screws rolled by screw rods. When performing the lock test, the minimum lock torque of the test board was observed. If the torque exceeds the specified standard value, the stainless steel screw product is unqualified. Failure to pass indicates that the surface of the stainless steel screw does not have sufficient lubricity, or the stainless steel screw has improper pattern forming and requires more torque.
